Die Gewerkschaft Verdi ruft für Donnerstag zu einem bundesweiten Warnstreiktag in Kliniken, Pflegeeinrichtungen und Rettungsdiensten des Bundes und der Kommunen auf. Dies teilte die Gewerkschaft in Berlin mit. Menschen in den Krankenhäusern und Pflegeeinrichtungen müssen sich auf Einschränkungen einstellen. Hintergrund ist der Tarifstreit mit Bund und Kommunen. Dort steht Mitte März die nächste Verhandlungsrunde an. „Was die Beschäftigten in Krankenhäusern und Pflegeeinrichtungen, in Psychiatrien und im Rettungsdienst jeden Tag für die Gesellschaft leisten, ist den meisten Menschen in diesem Land bewusst“, sagte Verdi-Bundesvorstandsmitglied Sylvia Bühler. Doch die Arbeitgeber ließen diese Anerkennung vermissen, fügte sie hinzu. DAS fordert die Gewerkschaft ► Verdi fordert eine Tariferhöhung im Volumen von acht Prozent, mindestens aber 350 Euro mehr monatlich für Entgelterhöhungen und höhere Zuschläge für die Arbeit zu belastenden und ungünstigen Zeiten. Die Ausbildungsvergütungen und Praktikantenentgelte sollen um 200 Euro monatlich angehoben werden. Außerdem fordert die Gewerkschaft drei zusätzliche freie Tage. Die Arbeitgeber haben diese Forderungen als nicht finanzierbar zurückgewiesen. Die Tarifverhandlungen werden am 14. bis 16. März 2025 in Potsdam fortgesetzt.
